Own product
Sakinah is our own iOS app, still in build. Prayer times, qibla, hijri calendar, recitation, and a quiet journal. The point is a daily practice you can keep, not a game that nags you.
Tracking stays on the device unless you choose cloud sync. There are no streaks, no public scores, no leaderboard for salah. Adhan, ayah, dhikr, and fasting logs are tools. They are not a performance review.
What the build does
Technical on purpose. Useful in the room.
- 01
Prayer that follows where you are
Twelve calculation methods, Hanafi or standard Asr, and adhan you can set to sound, vibrate, silent, or off. The compass is the qibla, not a toy.
- 02
Listen without leaving the app
Qur’an recitation, surah playlists, and a mini player above the tabs. You can read, mark, and keep notes on an ayah without opening a second app.
- 03
Private by default
Salah and fasting logs live on the phone. Optional Clerk and Convex sync is there if you want the same journal on another device. Nothing is designed to be shown off.
