Own product
FlickFinder is our own product. A household already knows what it has watched. The problem is agreeing what comes next without a group chat that dies in the scroll.
You drop a viewing history, or you build a list by hand from films and series. One link goes to the room. Each person scores the list and ranks the titles into the order they would actually sit down for. Consensus is an average and a Borda count, not a recommendation engine guessing your taste.
What the build does
Technical on purpose. Useful in the room.
- 01
No account, still a room
A name lives in a cookie on this browser. The share link is the whole product. People join without signing up, which is why a Sunday night list actually gets ranked.
- 02
History becomes a list
Netflix, Prime, and YouTube watches are matched to titles so the next list is built from real evenings, not a trending row.
- 03
Two rankings, one answer
You score the list itself, then order the titles. The page shows what the household actually prefers, so the argument ends on the screen.
